Import Customs From Malaysia To Australia

When exporting from Malaysia into Australia, the great news is that there is no duty on ANY products. This is because of the MAFTA, the Malaysia-Australia Free Trade Agreement. When this came into force in January 2013, Australia eliminated ALL import tariffs for ALL products. This means the duty on ALL products is 0%.

In order for this to apply, you need to ensure you submit a certificate of origin (COO) to the Australian Border Force, issued by the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). TSL is, of course, able to get this certificate for you.
